Just like every other shoot, this was a lot of fun aswell.
We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest and that was simply because we love what we do.
My candid advise to anyone reading this post is, πmake what you love doing best your money making business.π
Even though you may want to do it for free most times.π€£
So! Our script points us in the direction of the world famous Lagos Island for a location.π€
I had my reservations but we have a producer whose optimism shields us from every shade of reality.
Filming on the streets of lagos wouldn’t be a problem if you can pay the street boys some money once and do what you want to do without further disturbance.π
My problem is when you settle a group of street boys and they leave, some other group of boys can come by requesting for another payment. π€¨
That is the part that really irritates me.
On a sunny Sunday, we set out to film on Lagos Island and everything was cool up until when these boys showed up.π
One of them yelled out loud “stop shooting now!” I didn’t even act as if I heard anything,π
One of our security men approached him to have a conversation.
I commenced with the shoot as i noticed the boy held back and watched.
I made sure I took every shot as planned.π
When I wrapped the scene I was filming before he came, I told my manager to tell him to stay with us till we finish the entire shoot before we settle him and he agreedπ (you think say you dey wise)π.
In no time, about 5 other guys joined him.
I was so happy I held back his settlement because he became the one explaining to the others that he was waiting for settlement and that saved us a lot of stress.π
I wrapped the entire shoot and we settled him as the coordinator of the entire boys and we left.π
Enjoy the behind the scenes below.
