Let me break it down how we achieved this block Buster.😎
First off, everything achieved was planned thoroughly.
From the smallest detail to the biggest of them all.
Let me start with the police van.
Since the song is about the police, we needed to paint and image of the police and I didnt want it to be that of the Nigerian police🥲
So, we had to create our own image of the police.😎
Our image turned out amazing💯
We got our unique logo for the police. 🔥
We worked with light blue, black and grey for the police colour theme.
That was a whole branding vibe😎💯🔥
The most important part for me was the location,😳
Getting a place that will aid my interpretation of the scenes.
I wanted to see skyscrapers🤧
And the only place I could get anything close to that in Lagos, Nigeria was Lagos island.
We moved to Lagos Island for the recce and we got the perfect location.
Our road block with the “do not cross” yellow tape came alive because we were able to get a spot with less traffic that was just perfect. 👌
All characters were totally planned out, the detectives, the soldiers, the journalists, the paramedics and the passers-by.😎 all planned.
Another big point for me in the execution was the gunshot💯 🔥
That was a dream come true because I wanted it to be as realistic as it could be and I will say to you that we achieved it 💯
